What is The Wilson Method...

The Wilson method is a TRIED AND TESTED way of teaching anyone to cook so that they very quickly gain an UNDERSTANDING of the cooking process, as well as a REPERTOIRE OF up to fifty Mise-En-Bouche, Entrees, Main Courses, Desserts and Sauces cooked to a world-class standard.

To achieve results like these in such a short space of time may sound remarkable, or even unbelievable,  but this kind of success is achieved every week and is the result of many years of experience.

The Wilson Method was developed to bring on junior chefs to a very high standard in a short space of time and is UNLIKE ANY OTHER COOKING COURSE that we know of.

Almost all conventional cooking courses are long on theory, recipes and demonstration and very short indeed on practical cooking under close personal supervision.  That is because this is cheap.  Doing things this way round will save those running the course a great deal of money.

The Wilson Method is exactly the opposite.  We spend around ten times as much per student on produce alone and a lot more on personal tutoring.

The result is that, not only does the student learn a particular repertoire of dishes in a fraction of the time and to a much higher standard but, because of the way they learn these dishes, the students develop an UNDERSTANDING of exactly what’s going on in their pans and of the general principles involved, therefore they are not stuck reciting theory which they don’t understand and following recipes word for word.
They can very quickly cook new dishes that they have never been taught and make up their own recipes.
